We offer the full collection of Juvéderm fillers to help you keep your naturally youthful look
Dermal fillers are one of the fastest, easiest, and most cost-effective solutions to fight lines and wrinkles, fight age-related volume loss, and enhance the cheeks, lips, and other facial features without surgery or downtime—and the Juvéderm collection of fillers are favorites of both Dr. Hess and his patients to achieve a soft, natural look.
What is Juvéderm?
Juvéderm fillers are soft, smooth gels made with hyaluronic acid, a naturally-occuring substance already found in your skin. With five different formulas to choose from, Juvéderm can be an excellent option to reduce lines around the nose and mouth, enhance the cheeks, smooth depressed scars, plump the lips, and help you restore an overall more youthful appearance.
Dr. Hess offers all of the popular Juvéderm options, including:
- Juvéderm XC: great for marionette lines, smile lines, and other wrinkles, as well as smoothing depressed tear troughs
- Juvéderm Ultra XC: a thicker formula ideal for lip enhancement
- VOLUMA XC: designed specifically for rejuvenating hollowed cheeks; lasts up to 2 years
- VOLBELLA XC: designed to subtly enhance lips and smooth vertical lip lines
- VOLLURE XC: a longer-lasting formula excellent for smoothing nasolabial folds up to 18 months

When will I see results after Juvéderm injections?
Results will be visible immediately after your injections. Due to some minor swelling, you may look a little fuller than you expect at first, but this will improve rapidly over the next few days.
If you experience mild swelling or bruising from any type of injection, ice or cold packs can help to minimize swelling or discomfort. You can generally apply makeup over the treated area immediately.
How long does Juvéderm last?
Juvéderm typically lasts 6-12 months in the nasolabial folds, 3-6 months in the lips, and 9+ months in the tear trough area.
VOLUMA and VOLLURE are designed to last a little longer: up to 2 years in the cheeks, and up to 18 months in the nasolabial folds!
Do Juvéderm injections hurt?
Wrinkle filler injections can sting at times, so Dr. Hess can use topical anesthetic (numbing cream) or dental blocks to help enhance your comfort. Juvéderm fillers do have lidocaine (a mild anesthetic) already added to the syringe, which significantly reduces discomfort during treatment—many of our patients say their treatments are almost pain-free!
