    This has become my favorite procedure to perform.  The results are so dramatic!!  This patient underwent liposuction of the flanks (lower back) and abdomen followed by a standard tummy tuck.  I removed over 8 liters of fat via the liposuction and close to two pounds vis the tummy tuck. Her belly button is still swollen even after five months.  This is quite common.  At this point I would inject it with a small amount of steroid to get the swelling to subside.
