This lovely patient has a pretty typical tubular breast deformity of the left breast. The base of the breast is constricted and the breast tissue has herniated into the nipple areolar complex resulting in significant areolar widening. Although the right breast is without the tubular deformity we decided to use full periareolar incisions on both breasts for symmetry. For the right breast a straightforward breast augmentation was performed. For the left breast areolar reduction, release of the breast constrictures, a small areolar lift and breast augmentation was performed. I think we achieved a very nice result for this significant asymmetry.
