    This was a difficult case.  This patient has very poor tissue quality as evident by the severe stretch marks and the extreme laxity of the abdominal wall. This is purely due to genetics. Unfortunately, all of the stretch marks could not be removed but I think the appearance of the abdominal wall was significantly improved with a tummy tuck that included tightening of the abdominal muscles.  Even after more than a year the results look good.
