    This lovely and charming patient was incredibly nervous about having surgery.  When I first saw her she needed a breast reduction but after losing a significant amount of weight she needed a lift.  Several years later she got the courage to undergo her breast lift.  As you can see in a breast lift no breast tissue is removed, only skin. Therefore, asymmetries due to breast volume cannot be fully corrected.  The patient was happy with her breast size and the asymmetry.  She said to me a few months after surgery, "I don't know what I was so nervous about.  I love them."  She was able to achieve a very youthful appearance.
